JSW MG Motor India is keeping the momentum going with the Windsor EV lineup. Hot on the heels of launching the top-end Essence Pro, they’ve now introduced a new mid-tier variant — the MG Windsor EV Exclusive Pro.
This new version is priced at ₹17.25 lakh (ex-showroom) if you’re buying it outright. But there’s also a more budget-friendly option under MG’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program — ₹12.24 lakh upfront + ₹4.5/km for battery usage. Bookings are now open for just ₹11,000, with deliveries starting the first week of June.
What’s Under the Hood?
Just like the Essence Pro, the new Exclusive Pro is powered by a 52.9kWh battery pack, paired with a single electric motor. MG claims a range of 449 km (MIDC cycle) on a full charge — which is more than enough for daily city commutes and occasional road trips.
This variant slots between the Essence and Essence Pro trims, making it a sweet spot for buyers who want premium features without going all the way to the top-end model.
Feature Highlights
The Exclusive Pro brings a solid set of features to the table, including:
- New 18-inch machined alloy wheels
- Dual-tone Ivory & Black interiors
- A large 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system
- Nine-speaker sound system for immersive audio
- Available in three color options:
- Pearl White
- Starry Black
- Turquoise Green
It definitely adds a touch of luxury and tech-savviness to the Windsor EV range.

How It Compares with the Essence Pro
The Essence Pro, launched earlier this month, initially came with an introductory price of ₹17.50 lakh. But with 8,000 bookings within 24 hours, the launch offer ended quickly. The revised price is now ₹18.10 lakh, making the new Exclusive Pro ₹85,000 cheaper — while still offering many of the same features and battery performance.
Final Thoughts
The MG Windsor EV Exclusive Pro is a smart move by JSW MG Motor — it gives buyers a more affordable yet feature-rich option in the EV space. With competitive pricing under the BaaS model and a solid feature list, this variant should appeal to both budget-conscious EV adopters and those looking for a premium feel without going all-in on the top-spec trim.
If you’re planning to make the switch to electric, this could be a seriously tempting choice.
